How to build HTML5 apps with F# using WebSharper

This month Chris Dobson gives us an introduction to WebSharper. WebSharper builds HTML5 apps with F#, the world's finest programming language (according to Grant Crofton at least). See how quickly you can develop modern web apps, even if this is your first time.

Also this month, Richard Garside does a quick show and tell on Hangfire. An incredibly easy way to perform fire-and-forget, delayed and recurring tasks inside ASP.NET applications. No Windows Service required.

We're planning on kicking off with chatting about some selected news stories in our industry. LS#ers are welcome to inject their own stories. Although we might end up talking about this month's DDDNorth event too.

As usual, we will end up in Mr Foley's Cask Ale House to cool our overheated prefrontal cortex ;)

Thanks to our new sponsor NCover, our main speaker this month will receive a free license for NCover Desktop, worth over £400!

If you would like to try NCover for an extended 40 days and then receive a 40% discount, just come along this month and we'll sort you out.

Let us know you're coming on this event's Meetup Page.
