Mathew McLoughlin lost track of the number of C# developers who work with the Microsoft frameworks. Teams will choose to use WebAPI/MVC, Entity Framework and MS SQL without giving it a second thought. In this talk I'm going to show you there is an alternative way to develop a web application.
I will showcase some OSS projects that can be used as an alternative to the MS tooling. Demonstrating the advantages they have over the MS tooling and that they can be trusted. I will show you how to build an application using these tools and hopefully explaining why it is a good idea to look outside the box when you start your next project.
Craig Norton will introduce us to using Angular JS with .NET.
Let us know you're coming on this event's Meetup Page.
